High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.Presents self with professional appearance and behavior.Able to understand and follow instructions.Listens and can communicate effectively with managers, peers, and clients, both written and verbally.Is personally committed to continual improvement and customer satisfaction.Uses logic to solve problems with effective solutions.Pursues every job with drive and determination.Learns quickly and adapts to new problems and situations.Perform other relevant duties as required.Can work a shift with minimal or no supervision.Handles data entry and possesses basic skills on well planning using directional drilling software.Assists in the management of inventory and supplies required at the well site.Assists in the completion of Daily and Non-Conformance Reports.Performs basic kick-offs under simple situations (shallow, low angle without anti-collision risks).Assists with equipment preparation at the rig site.Demonstrates basic knowledge of all DD techniques and surveying methods required to complete the directional drilling job.Works on directional wells with full supervision from the Lead or Senior DD as a night hand, typically on basic to intermediate well types.Assists more experienced DDs at the well site.
